AQ Professional Services Inc. is an Ontario management consulting and project delivery firm, incorporated in September 2021 and in continuous practice since.
How the firm is built
A senior core, and a wider bench.
A small senior core runs the firm, supported by practitioners, associates and subject matter experts brought in for particular assignments. That is deliberate.
Work of this kind tends to come apart at the joins. The people who assess the current state hand to the people who design the new governance, who hand to the people responsible for making the organization adopt it. Every handoff loses context. Keeping the core small and senior removes the handoffs.
It also means the President works the engagement himself. When you meet the team in a proposal, that is the team that shows up.

The firm is led by its President, Mohammad Aqdas Qasem, PMP, who is on every engagement. Around that core sits a team of practitioners and associates drawn from different professional disciplines and brought in to suit the assignment. That mix is deliberate. This work rarely fits inside one specialism.
Business Analysis and Process Mapping
Requirements gathering, current-state mapping, future-state design and the traceability that connects what was asked for to what was built.
Organizational Design
Structure, reporting lines, role and responsibility definition, staffing and workload analysis, and the cross-departmental handoffs where most of the delay hides.
Change Management and Training
Stakeholder and impact analysis, communication planning through the whole rollout, training materials and floor support, and adoption measured against a target.
Governance, Compliance and Quality Assurance
Deliverable review before anything reaches a client, contract obligations, records and document quality. Draws on legal and administrative training as well as project practice.
Data, Reporting and Analytics
Performance measures, dashboards and the reporting that shows whether a change is working after the project team has gone.
Everyone proposed on a bid is named, with a resume and their percentage effort, before award. You will not meet one team at the presentation and a different one at kickoff.
Who we work for
Mostly the public sector.
School boards, colleges, municipalities, agencies and Crown-adjacent bodies, alongside regulated private sector clients where the compliance environment is similar. We bid in Canada and the United States.
Public sector delivery has its own constraints: elected oversight, procurement rules, privacy and records obligations, a budget cycle that will not bend, and staff who have seen consultants come and go. We plan around all of that from the start. The alternative is discovering it in month three.
